About RelyBlue

We grew up inside
industrial plants

We are the best in product cybersecurity, the work fewest firms get right. In OT cybersecurity, we are the pragmatic ones. From policies to PLCs, we’ve got you.

There’s a reason you want someone who understands your plant to assess it and advise on it.

Product cybersecurityWe are the best at this

Threat models, requirements, evidence. Very few firms know how to get this right. We know what the auditor will ask before you build it, and we write the process from how you really work.

OT cybersecurityThe pragmatic kind

Control rooms, panels, turnarounds. We know what a change costs in downtime before we suggest it, and we do not pile up tools to prove we were there.

Why we exist

Product cybersecurity and OT cybersecurity are two different jobs. One standard: advice you can act on.

In product cybersecurity
We know the standard and we know the auditor.

IEC 62443-4-1 and the CRA are not checklists to us. We know what the auditor will ask before you build the evidence, and we build the evidence so the answer is already there.

We write the process from how you really build.

Most policies and procedures are written for the audit. The way the product is actually built is different, and everyone knows it. We make the document and the reality the same thing, so it holds up when the auditor asks to see it in practice.

In OT cybersecurity
We do not pile up tools.

Every new box costs money to buy, money to run, and one more thing to maintain. Often your security is no better for it. We fix what matters with what you already have first.

We already know what a change will do.

Architecture, network, settings: the effect on the process is in our advice before you see it. You never have to argue the complexity with us.

We started RelyBlue for both: product teams who want it done right the first time, and plants who want security they can actually run.

How we got here

Both sides of the table

In the founder’s words

  1. 01

    On the plant side

Automation engineer at a global automation vendor

I am an instrumentation engineer, and I started as an automation engineer with one of the largest automation vendors, defining networks, programs and operations for plants across India, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. I saw the networks as they really are, the problems production faces on the ground, and the battle between production and IT, from the production side.

  2. 02

    Inside a product company

Vulnerability management for industrial control systems

I then joined a product company building vulnerability management for industrial control systems. I worked mostly on the vulnerability management and augmentation parts of the product, and spent time with the application security team to learn how secure software is built. Alongside, I completed a postgraduate diploma in cybersecurity to strengthen the fundamentals.

  3. 03

    In consulting

    Assessment, design and product certification

Then I moved into full-time consulting, and delivered assessment, design and product certification projects across India, the Middle East and Europe.

  4. 04

    What I kept seeing

    Clients who felt neglected

Consultants came with their own understanding and their own checklist, found problems and wrote a report. Nobody considered the environment in front of them or the constraints it runs under. I saw clients sold solutions they would never need, and solutions configured with no understanding of the network around them.

So we took on the challenge and started an ethics-based advisory: one that understands the plant, has lived in it, and has been on both sides of the table.

Why RelyBlue

What we promise product teams, plants, and everyone.

Four reasons, all checkable.

To OEMs

Your documents will fit how you build.

Threat models, requirements and evidence written into your development process, not bolted on afterwards, and able to stand up to the hardest audit.

To asset owners

We will not stop your process, and we will not pile up tools.

Passive first. Nothing touches a live loop unless you schedule it. We fix what matters with what you already have before we suggest buying anything.

To everyone

We will tell you to do less when less is right.

If a two-week gap assessment answers your question, we will not sell you eight weeks. We have walked away from work that would not have helped. It costs us revenue. We do it anyway.

To everyone

We know the standards well enough to argue with them.

IEC 62443, CRA, NCIIPC, OTCC. We know what each clause is for, not just what it says. That is what separates passing an audit from a programme that exists only on paper.

Our vision

To become the most trusted name in OT cybersecurity, by delivering honest, reliable and risk-based guidance.

Our mission

To protect industrial operations and support secure product development by delivering honest, experience-driven cybersecurity guidance.

How we work

No fear. No unnecessary work. We look at what you already do and fix only what needs fixing, without changing how your team works. Asset owners get security their people understand and use. OEMs aiming for CRA or IEC 62443-4-1 get documents that match their own development process and hold up in any audit.
